As the demand for wood in China is growing increasingly, the timber export tax in Russia rises and the timber export in other countries is forbidden, this has a great impact on the wood processing enterprises in our country. To exert the regional advantages of Putian¡¯s wood development, ¡°2008 China (Putian) International Wood Industry Exhibition¡±, co-organized by the Office of Wood Industry Administration, State Forestry Administration and Putian People¡¯s Government, Fujian Province, explores the wood export sources from multiple channels to build Putian Wood Processing Trade Demonstration Region bigger and stronger, realize the extension from wood trade to further processing of wood products, increase the technological content and build brand, form an international industry chain and make Putian the hub of wood trade and base of international wood trade ¡°with goods all over the world¡±. The exhibition is expected to be held at the Putian National Wood Industry Exhibition and Trade Center, Fujian Province on June 19 ¨C 21, 2008.
With the aim to promote industrial upgrade and cultivate self-owned brands, the exhibition is built elaborately into an international wood industry exhibition through the forms of exhibition and demonstration, enterprise communication, high-level forum and selection of excellent products around the themes of ¡°port forestry¡±, ¡°industry gathering¡±, etc. On the occasion, tens of thousands of domestic and foreign forest products and new technologies will be shown, hundreds of forestry enterprises and domestic and foreign financial groups and investment agencies will have forest projects and capital linked face to face and thousands of domestic and foreign large purchasers, export and import companies, governmental purchase groups will come for order and trade negotiation. During the exhibition, it is estimated that thirty thousand person-times of professional buyers and the social public will be welcomed. |
